If you are looking for a compact, foldable van sleeping platform, the Tofino bed will get you on the road within minutes thanks to its unique interlocking construction design. Note that Installation DOES NOT require removal of the third bench. This kit has adjustable front and rear legs and will allow you to sleep in a leveled bed in almost any minivan and full size vans. It will accept any floor slope up to a 6'' (15cm) drop. You will have storage underneath the sleeping platform to place various goods according to your needs as the platform can be delivered into 2 different heights. The highest at 18'' for maximum storage capacity and the lower one at 12.5'' for maximum available head room.
This van sleeping platform model is designed for ultra-easy assembly and compact storage. Also, you will be able to assemble it with no tools!
This car sleeping platform kit is made from ultralight marine grade 15mm (5/8'') Poplar wood veneers issued from sustainable wood plantation certified FSC, PEFC CARB Phase 2 / TSCA Title VI. It can be delivered stained and varnished with a non-toxic water based all in one product that will guarantee you an unmatched life span. It is also available in unfinished, RAW wood
You will be able to complete your kit with a 3’’ (7.6 cm) 3 section mattresses with a heavy-duty charcoal gray fabric cover.
Total bed size is 48’’ (115 cm) wide by 74’’ (183 cm) long with sleeping platform deployed so it allows plenty of room in front of the platform if needed to move around and to store various items such as a portable toilet. (Note that platform can be extended upon special order).
Kit includes a huge sliding work table in the back with a collapsible 9.5''(24 cm) x 13.5''(34 cm) container the can be used as a sink. This work table is perfect for tail gating and to prepare your snacks on the road!
The Tofino bed dry assembled weight is 80 lbs with mattress.
